When I was a child, it was a rare treat to be able to have a glass of Chocolate Malt OVALTINE® ... and what a treat it was. I had no idea that I was actually getting something good for me – it tasted great!

As a mother of four, I bought OVALTINE on occasion as my children were growing up, and they loved it too! Now that I have added 2 to the mix (step-children), I have been able to share that with them as well ... my husband LOVES it too. Almost as much as the rest of us! They are all pre-teens, teens, and even young adults now and will likely pass the tradition to their families, as they get older! I keep OVALTINE as if it were a staple of necessity (toilet paper, milk, and OVALTINE)! They all enjoy the rich, chocolatey flavor, and I can feel good about giving it to them!

Thanks OVALTINE, for being such a constant enjoyment in my life that I have been able to share with my children!

MORE OVALTINE, PLEASE! :) ***DON'T CHANGE***

I am 54 years young. I remember drinking OVALTINE® as a small child. I lived with my uncle’s family on their self-sufficient farm, but OVALTINE was provided every morning for the 8-member family beside the hearty, farm breakfast. I loved the malted goodness then, and I still love it today!

My four children drank OVALTINE for special treats, even though money was tight. Now my 5 grandchildren enjoy the extra rich, chocolate flavor. So here is four generations of OVALTINE sippers, drinkers, and gulpers who have enjoyed OVALTINE!

As a child growing up in the 50s, I loved going to Grandma’s house because she always had OVALTINE® in the pantry. She would serve me a cup of warm OVALTINE before bedtime, and sometimes she'd put a marshmallow on top. What a treat.

I knew that whenever I visited, she would have OVALTINE for me because she knew I loved it. And it was the only way she could entice me to "drink my milk."

Thirty years later, with children of my own, OVALTINE was the only type of chocolate mix in our pantry. Whenever my kids wanted to try something else, I would show them the label on the back that listed the vitamins and minerals in OVALTINE. At the grocery store, we would compare it to other mixes on the market and my kids learned at an early age to make better decisions about nutrition. The proof of the pudding, to use an old expression, was when their friends would come to our house for an after-school snack and my kids would tell their friends, "You have to try this – and it's good for you!" We converted a lot of kids to OVALTINE drinkers.

I still keep OVALTINE on my grocery list, and I've discovered that by adding 1/3 cup of powdered milk and an equal amount of OVALTINE to about 10 ounces of very strong coffee, I can serve up a fabulous mocha. And with that, I have all the benefits of a glass of milk, as well as all the vitamins and minerals in my beloved OVALTINE.

We are truly an OVALTINE® family - we have 5 generations of drinkers. I am a 72-year-old, Black grandmother of many grandsons and a few granddaughters. I am the youngest of 3 siblings, whose grandmother daily gave us hot cereal for breakfast along with OVALTINE for extra nutritional assurance. Hot in the winter and cold in the summer. Our family has expanded, and many generations continue our family tradition as OVALTINE lovers. I expect this family tradition will continue in the future.
